I am an Associate Professor of Spanish in the department of Romance Languages and Literatures at the University of Cincinnati. I have published essays on Spanish literature, world literature, film, and literary theory (see “Research”).
I am the author of Drama, literatura, filosofía: Itinerarios del realismo y el modernismo europeos (Fundamentos: Madrid, 2015). Four academic journals have reviewed my book (Anagnórisis, Tropelías, Journal of Comparative Literature and Aesthetics, 452F). Most of my essays, and a preview of Drama, literatura, filosofía, are available on Academia.edu. I am currently working on two book-lenght projects: A study on Federico García Lorca's theater, and a critical anthology of texts by Emil Volek.
